Random review

Just a quick note to say life is good. Nana is all moved and working on getting settled into her new home. It has been nice to have her over for dinner several times and just swing by her place. Brian worked in the yard several hours today, trimming vines and trees. I have been working on Iris' quilt. Gareth is itching for me to get started on his.

I moved some scrapbook supplies from the barn inside the house. I did not want them to get ruined from the moisture out there. I washed up the containers and need to organize and find a place for them inside here. I still need to get the kids baby scrapbooks completed and want to start on their school ones.

A local friend who is probably moving to New Mexico gave me a BUNCH of great art books/supplies and a big bag of leicester sheep wool that needs cleaned/processed to be made into yarn. Absolute jackpot of cool stuff!

We put an order in for new chicks and ducklings for this spring. I think a few of the current layers will be retired. We finally got some cuckoo marans - dark brown egg layers. We also got some more green egg layers.

We put a plant order in for rhubarb, horeseradish, asparagus, quince, 12 plant blueberry collection, cornelian cherries, hazelnuts, shellbark hickory, black tartarian cherry, bing cherry. We need to prepare a few more raised garden spaces.

Life is good and always busy here on the farm.
